Additional Services Available for our Inline Check Valves

Flag Tag

SS Tag: Stainless steel plate with a stainless steel wire to be attached on or around the check valve after installation, for identification purposes.

Flag Tag: Tag with a stainless steel stem to be permanently attached (either spot welded or screwed) to the check valve (F1 F6 FR HV and WV styles only) for easy identification in applications where flange connections are used.

Clean for Oxygen, Chlorine, or Isocyanate Service: Valve components are submerged into an ultrasonic bath, removed and inspected under ultra violet light, assembled, re-submerged, re-inspected, and sealed in a plastic bag.

Hydrostatic Shell Testing

Hydro Static Shell Test: The check valve is installed into a fixture where water is introduced at 1-1/2 times the valve pressure rating. The check valve is then inspected for leaks through the shell or body.

Seat Leakage Test: Performed on every check valve that ships from our facility. Air is introduced in the reverse flow direction at 80-PSIG and any leakage is measured. Must pass specific criteria depending upon the seat material of the check valve. Contact factory if reports are required for compliance with API 594 (low and high pressure closure) & MSS SP 61/126

B16.34 Test and Tag: We perform a Hydrostatic Shell Test and mark the required information on either a Flag Tag, SS Tag, or on the body, depending upon the valve style.

CRN Marking: We mark the required information on either a Flag Tag, SS Tag, or on the body, depending upon the check valve style.

CE Mark: We perform a Hydrostatic Shell Test and mark the required information on either a Flag Tag, SS Tag, or on the body, depending upon the valve style.

NACE Testing: Wetted valve components are evaluated to verify that their Rockwell hardness falls within the specifications established by NACE MR0175/ISO 15156 and NACE MR0103 contact the factory for availability.
