What is a
Check Valve?

Sanitary valves

The check valve is designed to prevent back flow. Fluid flowing in the desired direction opens the valve, while back flow forces the valve closed.

Differential pressure causes the spring to compress and the valve to open.  Since the force increases as the spring compresses toward solid height, the differential pressure required to get the valve fully open is greater.  The rule of thumb is 3 times the cracking pressure for full open.

Check-All manufactures silent spring loaded lift disk or piston-type check valves.

Check-All valves have a variety of uses.

All of our check valves offer a wide variety of seat materials and cracking pressure springs.   Let our specially trained staff help you choose the proper combination for your application needs.  After all, you have better things to do, and check valves are all we do.
